Bingo!
Set in the faded seaside town of Blackpool, BINGO! follows Jamie, a 23-year-old with an infectious personality, a big mouth, and an even bigger dream: to be the host with the most on the bingo stage.
Jamie grew up spending nights at the local bingo hall with his nan, who taught him every call from “Legs Eleven” to “Two Fat Ladies.” Now, years later, he’s desperate to follow in her footsteps. The only problem? Jamie has Tourette’s — and while he can’t always control what comes out of his mouth, he refuses to let that define him.
When the bingo hall announces a nationwide “Next Caller Star Search,” Jamie enters against the odds. With the help of his best mate Kelly, a sardonic bartender with a heart of gold, and his supportive-but-exasperated Nan, Jamie trains himself for the biggest night of his life. Along the way, he faces snide rivals, awkward auditions, and the challenge of being taken seriously in a world that too often laughs for the wrong reasons.
Through laughter, tears, and the unlikeliest of triumphs, BINGO! becomes a story about voice, acceptance, and finding your rhythm — no matter how unpredictable the beat.
